All web tools used at Powderhorn Elementary School are in compliance with Student Data Privacy Laws. Read more about these laws from the Colorado Department of Education. In an effort to conform to state law mandates and communicate to our families how their child's information is being shared, Powderhorn staff will openly communicate which technology tools (software, apps, extensions, etc.) are being used as learning tools in our classrooms. All tech tools we plan to use with students for the school year are listed below with links to each website.

Raz Kids--Hundreds of interactive leveled ebooks for teachers to use along with quizzes and tests and reports.

Think Central--Online component of Math Expressions a Math resource for grades K-6

Google Apps--Google Apps Education Edition is a package of Google applications that live on the internet "cloud." The applications contained in Jeffco's Google Apps are Docs, Sites, Calendar, Google+ Photos, YouTube (for staff), Gmail and Contacts - all within a safe and secure domain for students and staff of Jeffco Schools.

Lexia Reading Core 5--Lexia Reading Core 5 supports educators by providing differentiated literacy instruction for students grades pre-K-5.
